I am going to skip class today, because most of my clothes, including my only towel, are at the laundry. So I can’t wash my hair, and I really hate to go to class with greasy, pillow-smell hair. I plan to stay in my room and wash my undies. I might go groceries shopping or to the campus bookshop to get more postcards.

Today I am also torn in two because I am contemplating between visiting the Venetian Macao with the ‘gang’ or follow SL to Hac-Sa Beach. I want to visit the casino and the mall there, but I am also wary of the ‘gang’s’ notorious photo-taking. Much as I would like to visit it, I think my disposition would be somewhat compromised by their photographical obsession.

On the other hand, I do not really mind following SL to the beach. Except that it sounds a bit boring; what else is there to do besides taking a few pictures? I also feel like I might be missing out on Venetian; I’m sure there would be some interesting things there.

I admire SL’s ability to not mind being alone going to the beach. I am not confident enough to venture anywhere new on my own; just places I am familiar with and know my way around.

I do not admire Zi’s tag-along attitude. Maybe it is just the way I see it and not how exactly things may be, but she is contented to go whenever the leader tells her to. Yesterday, I am sure she saw me took off after SL but she rather stick with the ‘gang’. Fair enough. But if she had gone with us, she’d have been able to do a little shopping instead of walking very slowly towards the ruins and that’s it, since she can’t even have dinner anywhere but in her room.
